AV Academy VC Bootcamp A half-day experience for Alumni Ventures members who are ready to go from curious to confident.
The AV Academy VC Bootcamp is a working session for current and prospective AV members who want to understand venture capital as a discipline. You’ll learn how the asset class works, how returns are built, how investors actually evaluate a deal, and what that means for you as an investor.
The day moves through VC 101, 201, 301, and 401 from the foundation vocabulary through mechanics, deal evaluation, and the AV lens and closes with a live evaluation of a real AV deal, using a professional investor framework.

By the end of the day, you'll be able to make a confident yes or no decision on an investment opportunity and how to start approaching your venture investing plan.
We'll close the day with a live deal drop: a real syndication opportunity, available to all attendees. No pressure to invest. But for many people, this is the moment they make their first one.
