About Event

Join Adeeba Peerzade, a South Asian Nutritionist & Certified Diabetes Educator, for an insightful session where we will explore the impact of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) on the South Asian community. PCOS affects a significant number of women in the US, with higher rates among South Asians compared to Caucasians in the UK.

Our main goal is to educate our community about the diagnosis and management of PCOS, with a focus on preventing long-term issues for women. We will cover essential topics such as an introduction to PCOS, key diagnostic criteria to be aware of, understanding and supporting your menstrual cycle, and lifestyle and nutrition strategies to reduce symptoms.

This event provides a wonderful opportunity to learn, support one another in navigating PCOS within the South Asian community, and raise awareness about this important issue. Join us to gain valuable knowledge and make a difference.
