Basic Capital: Operators Dinner (Financial Services)
The people running HR and Finance at a 20–100 person firms don’t get a lot of rooms built for them.
This is one.
We’re bringing together HR and Finance leaders from hedge funds, private equity firms, family offices, and wealth managers. The people who keep the firm running while the investment team gets the headlines.
No vendor panels. No pitch decks. Just operators swapping stories about what’s working, what’s breaking, and what nobody warned them about.
Think: scaling comp and benefits when headcount jumps after a fundraise. Keeping compliance tight with a lean team. Wearing four hats when the org chart says one.
Small group. Real conversations. Good food.
Who it’s for: Heads of People, CFOs, Controllers, and Ops leads at investment firms with 20–100 employees.
