About Event

You're cordially invited to an evening of martinis, music, glamour and, of course, mystery at our James Bond themed evening.

Join us on October 23rd at Cheadle Hulme School as we explore Quantum of Menace on publication day, an officially endorsed novel set in the world of Bond following Q and his departure from MI5. You'll learn why author Vaseem Khan was so desperate to pen this story, the secrets he uncovered with the help of the Fleming Estate and what research he did to craft Quantum of Menance.

Hosted at Cheadle Hulme School's stunning theatre space, you'll follow our black tie outfitted team where there will be live music from our very own Chloe who will be performing a medley of iconic Bond themes. A best dressed competition will be held, with some great prizes, so feel free to join us in dressing up- though this is very much not mandatory!

After a talk with author Vaseem Khan, in conversation with shop favourite and global bestseller T.M. Logan, you'll be able to ask your own questions and get your book signed.

We'll also be serving up martinis (shaken, not stirred, of course) alongside our usual event bar selection and have a very special piece of Bond history at the event for you to discover.

Discover this year's most talked-about crime novel on publication day, packed with insider info for Bond fans!

This really is one you don't want to miss, in our most immersive event of the season.

About The Book Quantum of Menace

After Major Boothroyd (aka Q) is unexpectedly ousted from his role with British Intelligence developing technologies for MI6's 00 agents, he finds himself back in his sleepy hometown of Wickstone-on-Water.

His childhood friend, renowned quantum computer scientist Peter Napier, has died in mysterious circumstances, leaving behind a cryptic note.

The police seem uninterested, but Q feels compelled to investigate and soon discovers that Napier's ground-breaking work may have attracted sinister forces . . . Can Q decode the truth behind Napier's death, even as danger closes in?
