What to Expect 🤩

Minimal incline with patches of shade, plus a few stream crossings—wear sturdy hiking shoes 🏞️
Bring plenty of water and sun protection ⛅️
Tighter sections where we'll need to pass other hikers single-file ⚠️
Expect plenty of other hikers, dogs, and bikers on the trail—please keep pups leashed at all times
📍 Meeting Spot: Gabrielino Trail Parking (specific location will be provided with email confirmation)
⏰ Timing: Please plan to arrive by 6:45am to allow time for parking, check-in, and pup hellos. The pack hike will begin promptly at 7am, and we won’t be able to hold the group for late arrivals.
Is This Hike Suitable for My Dog? 🧐

This trail is heavily visited on weekends, with lots of hikers, bikers, and dogs sharing the path—including tighter sections where we'll need to pass others single-file. This hike is best suited for pups who are cool, calm, and collected around new friends on the trail!
While this is an on-leash trail, you may spot the occasional off-leash dog trotting over to say hi, so it helps if your dog can handle a surprise greeting with good manners. 🐾
We're planning to hike around four miles, so if your dog isn't quite ready for longer treks yet, this adventure might be better saved for another day!
