About Event

Across UK financial services, due to initiatives such as The Financial Services Skills Compact, individual executives are now named as personally accountable for closing their organisation's AI skills gap, with progress published every year. Almost none of them can yet prove, with a number, how capable their people actually are.

This private evening brings together a select group of Chief People Officers, skills leaders and heads of transformation from UK financial institutions for a candid, peer-led discussion over dinner. The subject is not AI adoption. Everyone in the room already believes AI matters. The subject is measurement: what counts as decision-grade evidence of AI capability, and what a leader would be prepared to publish.

On the table:

→ Reporting a figure for something your organisation cannot currently measure, and nobody wanting to be first with a weak one

→ Reskill the team you have, or hire AI-native juniors and hollow out the pipeline that trains your future finance leaders

→ Pilots and dashboards that read well in a board paper but move nothing real

→ Who actually owns this: the CPO, the CFO or the CTO
