Building One Health and First Responder Capacity with Frontline Law Enforcement in Liberia

​Jenny Desmond is the founder of Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue & Protection in West Africa. She is involved in local and global wildlife conservation ranging from hands on rehabilitation to legal and policy development and the establishment of protected spaces.

​Jackson Y. Poultolnor works with Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue & Protection as a One Health Officer, driving the organization’s priority to ensure a holistic approach to conservation. Jackson’s career includes roles such as Field Team Manager, where he led the safe and humane sampling of thousands of mammals in disease prevention programs, and Wildlife Officer for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
