​About Sam Simpson

​Sam Simpson is the Co-founder of FounderCatalyst, on a mission to simplify and accelerate the early-stage investment legal journey by making funding round legals more transparent and affordable. As well as building for founders, he's lived the challenges of fundraising himself, having co-founded and exited several tech start-ups, including the 17th fastest-growing company in Europe 2017 (going from £0 to £27m in less than 4 years). He's now an active angel investor (32 investments in 6 years), and board advisor.

​We'll also be joined by Philip Hare on the panel for Q&A after the session with Sam. He is a board member of the EIS Association and chairs its tax committee. He has advised companies and investors regarding the SEIS and EIS since their inception in the 1990s, first at PwC and for the last nine years as founder of Philip Hare & Associates LLP.
