About Event

The Tile Society Fall Mini League

Mahjong Mondays are back. Three afternoons of American Mahjong on Mercer Island, served with lunch, familiar faces, friendly competition and a very good reason to look forward to Mondays.

The Fall Mini League is for women who already know the game and want to join us for the final three sessions of the season. You’ll rotate tables, play with different women and watch the standings take shape over three afternoons of real play.

And there is something to play for. At our final session, two players will each take home a Jo Malone London Pamper Party, a $260 value: a private service experience at the Bellevue boutique for her and up to three friends, with a full-size Body & Hand Wash for each of them. One goes to Queen of the Tiles, our highest overall scorer, and one to Most Likely to Call Mahj, the player with the most mahjongs.

WHO THIS IS FOR

A NOTE ON SHOWING UP

We hope you can join us for all three afternoons. The same women, watching the standings change and each other get better, is part of what makes league play so much fun.

But life happens. If you need to miss a session, you may send a friend to play in your place, and her results will count toward your mini-league totals. Some of our favorite players first arrived as someone’s substitute, which says quite a bit about how quickly this game pulls you in.

Come for the mahjong. Stay for the women at the table. And may the best hand win.
