About Event

The pieces for systemic change exist. So why is the puzzle still broken?

Governments have set targets. Brands have made pledges. Innovators are building alternatives. NGOs are raising the alarm. Every piece of the puzzle is on the table - and yet plastic keeps reaching the ocean.

The problem is not the pieces. It is that they are not connected. The gap between corporate circular commitments and the on-the-ground systems that could fulfil them remains vast - especially in the coastal communities where most ocean plastic originates and where formal waste collection barely exists.

This roundtable brings together people who each hold a different part of the puzzle - industry, funders, NGOs, innovators, and policymakers - to ask a direct question: what would it actually take to fit them together?

Hosted by Free The Sea.
