Governing AI in the Wild: an AI Policy Hackathon
A one-day policy hackathon on governing AI after deployment. Five streams to pick from, spanning international AI diplomacy, post-deployment oversight, crisis response, accountability for AI harm, and governing models beyond developer control.
You and your team will spend the day producing a policy brief that goes somewhere impactful. Expert judges drawn from the AI policy and safety communities select the top three teams for cash prizes. Winning briefs will be published through The Diplomatic Wire's AI Governance Lab. A report of the winners’ work is routed to Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, the office of Canada's Minister of AI, and EU AI policy organizations.
Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and a networking dinner are all included. Coffee on tap. Free for accepted participants. Hosted at Trajectory Labs, funded by BlueDot Impact, and presented by The Diplomatic Wire.
