Who is doing this?
Generalist World is the community where generalists belong. GW is a global community of 800+ members spanning a range of industries, job titles, and squiggly careers.
International Generalist Day (IGD) is GW's global day of in-person meetups, where generalists from all over the world gather to connect and celebrate their squiggly career paths.
About your host
I'm Per. Originally from Denmark, I've spend the last 15 years in Germany. I've been working in Advertising, Design and Strategy and recently co-founded a company which helps companies work understand the value of new technologies.
Why Attend?
Doing "a bit of everything" is a great way to find your way through life and career. But sometimes it can be isolating. IGD is a great chance to meet up with other creative, squiggly people and connect.
What to expect?
We'll jump on Ferry 73 for a short trip to Ernst-August-Schleuse and back (30 mins total) with a few conversation starters in the backpack. The ferry ride is free for all guests (please let me know if you have a Hamburg AB ticket already beforehand) Afterwards we'll head to BLOCKBRÄU for refreshments (on a pay-for-yourself basis).
Who is it for?
Everyone is welcome: You don’t need to be part of a specific industry or community. If you've had or want to have a Squiggly Career and feel up for a chance to connect and exchange ideas with other generalists, jump on the boat and join us for a trip!
