Hike Day - Siete Picos
Ready to discover new landscapes of the Sierra de Madrid???
In this new hike, we go back to Sierra de Guadarrama to get into the woods and discover one of the most iconic trails of the region: la Senda Schmid
The day will start early in the morning and will take us around 1h to reach the starting point of the Hike. Followed by aprox 2h of easy hike, lunch time followed by an scenaric ascend towards 2.200 meters height with some of the most amazing views of Madrid.
Difficulty
This hike consists of a circular route taht will take us aprox 5:30 hours to complete
From Puerto de Navacerrada to Collado Ventoso
Easy trail

50 Meters height .

From Collado Ventoso to 7 Picos
Medium trail.
3 Km
300 Meters Hight.
2 Hours
From 7 Picos to Puerto de Navacerrada
Mediume Trail
2 km
-300 meters Height

Schedule
08:00am Meeting point - Moncloa. Bus Station (or at Paseo de Moret for Carpools)
09:30 arrive at Puerto de Navacerrada.
10:00 - 18:00: Hike with 1.5 hours break
18:20: back to Puerto Navacerrada. Last bus to Madrid
19:30. Arrival to Madrid

Hi there, my name is Carlos. I'm a Madrileño by birth right, but a world citizen by heart. I'm a curious adventurer always in search for new ways of understanding life and happiness. I’m that kind of person who’s not defined by their job (people rarely guesses it), I've attempted painting, playing an instrument, graphic design, sports, etc... but by my true passions are undoubtly: food and people. Always in for a good bite. Always ready to listen (if I'm not doing the talking).
