Hashed Open Dialogue for Law is back! After a successful Global Legal Symposium at Korea Blockchain Week 2023 (see here), we’re landing in Bangalore as an official side event of the mighty India Blockchain Week 2023!
We’re partnering with the leading Web3 industry association in India - Bharat Web3 Association – to host “Global Cryptolaw Symposium: Bridging the Web3 Gap” on 8 December 2023 from 630 PM onward at Hashed Haus in Indiranagar, Bengaluru!
You don’t want to miss this – it’s where the sharpest legal & policy minds in the Indian crypto scene come together to exchange perspectives and clink glasses! Here’s what you need to know:
We’re trying to “bridge the gap” of knowledge by bringing together the cryptolaw and policy communities to discuss developments in India, but that’s not all – we’ve got presentations from founders who are building impactful projects at the intersection between law, finance and blockchain.
We’ve got an exciting line-up of speakers and content – we start off with keynote addresses from the leader of Hashed Open Research, Dr. YB Kim. He will be introducing Hashed Open Research, and explaining how he drafted the highly successful cryptolaws of South Korea.
Theoretical knowledge is great, but what’s better than hearing from the builders? Arjun Khazhanchi is building one of the most innovatively structured onshore RWA projects at Rooba Finance; Ross Campbell has mastered the dark art of wedding AI & DAO-LLCs at KALI; Zach Marks is doing a world of good by tapping stablecoin liquidity for microfinance at Jia; and Alejandro Vargas at Mooncheck is looking into a future where information asymmetry around tokens is solved through disclosure and community. They’re here in the flesh to drop some wisdom.
Lastly, we’ll get some inside info on how to deal with the evolving cryptolaw and policy landscape in India with a panel of heavy-hitters – TBA :)
