India Philanthropy Forum 2025 | New York City
Following the success of the Dasra Philanthropy Forum (DPF) in New York City last year, we are excited to build on this momentum and host the India Philanthropy Forum (IPF) – on the side-lines of the United Nations General Assembly week this September. Rooted in the ethos of “India for the World, the World for India,” IPF NYC 2025 will convene a dynamic community of philanthropists, foundation leaders, social entrepreneurs, academics, NGO heads, and global development experts to shape a shared vision for inclusive and lasting impact.
About IPF NYC 2025
The forum aims to amplify innovative ideas for the future of India, showcasing how philanthropy can be a catalyst for inclusive development, social innovation, and collaboration. Now in its 11th chapter, it will spotlight transformative approaches to philanthropy – elevating India’s growing role as a global hub for social innovation, amplifying grassroots leadership, and exploring how Indian and South Asian diaspora can strengthen community resilience locally while building bridges globally. The themes across the sessions will include:
Rethinking philanthropy’s role in shaping India@2047 through inclusive and resilient systems
The growing influence of women in philanthropy and gender-intentional giving
Centering indigenous knowledge and frontline leadership in climate action
Strengthening India’s mental health ecosystem through intergenerational philanthropy
Building an enabling environment for effective and scalable giving
Catalyzing inclusive and ethical social innovation through data, tech, and AI
Join us for this energizing and impactful gathering as we come together to reimagine a more inclusive and resilient future for India.
