June Session: “Embracing the Lover”
There's a part of every man that knows how to feel deeply — that responds to beauty, that aches with longing, that comes alive in the presence of something true. Most of us learned, early and repeatedly, to keep that part quiet.
This session is an invitation to bring it forward.
We'll be working with the Lover archetype — one of the four cardinal masculine energies identified by Jungian scholar Robert Moore. The Lover is not about romance. It's about your capacity for aliveness. For presence. For feeling the full texture of your interior life rather than moving through life at a distance.
The Lover is the part of you that creates, that connects, that grieves and celebrates and desires. It's also the part most suppressed by the culture men are raised in — a culture that mistakes numbness for strength and emotional range for weakness.
We'll explore what it means to reclaim this energy: how emotions function not as inconveniences but as intelligence — messengers carrying information about what matters, what's true, and what wants to move through you. We'll work with the body, with music, with each other — moving through distinct emotional landscapes and learning to notice what's actually alive inside.
