​The Future of Knowledge: From Vision to Impact brings together leading voices from science, technology, culture, and policy to explore how cross-sector collaboration can address society’s most urgent challenges. From the future of AI and data, to health and community resilience, research innovation, and investment in inclusive growth - our programme spans the key issues shaping our world.

​With thought-provoking talks, dynamic panels, and three hours dedicated to networking woven throughout the day, The Future of Knowledge 2025 is designed to connect the lab to the library, the boardroom to the classroom, and the local to the global.

​About the Knowledge Quarter

​The Knowledge Quarter (KQ) is a cross-sector partnership of knowledge-creating institutions located within a one-mile radius of King’s Cross, London. Our partners include world-leading organisations such as the British Library, the British Museum, Central Saint Martins, the Francis Crick Institute, Google DeepMind, UCL, and Wellcome Trust.

​Ten years ago, a group of academic, cultural and research institutions, located around the British Library in King’s Cross, London, formed the Knowledge Quarter, a partnership which has grown and shaped the identity of this area of London, as one of the world’s most dynamic innovation districts.

In 2025, we are celebrating ten years of this unique partnership, with the return of our flagship conference, The Future of Knowledge.

The 2025 edition, From Vision to Impact, will be a space for new connections between institutions and entrepreneurs, researchers and policymakers, artists and educators, from across the Knowledge Quarter and beyond.

Together, we’ll look to the area’s future, and confront the biggest challenges to unlocking it’s innovation potential and delivering inclusive growth.
