ABOUT EVENT
Join us Friday, 6 November at 6:30 PM for a restorative gong bath with Athena Ko, The Gong Girl, at Love Supreme Projects on Golborne Road, Notting Hill.

By the end of the week our nervous systems need proper recovery, so we wanted one evening this autumn that asked nothing of you. No conversation to hold, no one to impress. You lie down, Athena plays, and the week leaves your body. Just a few of us getting back to baseline, or better, going into the weekend.

THE SESSION
A gong bath is a lying-down sound meditation. Athena plays gongs and other instruments while you rest under a blanket, and the sound does the work. No experience needed, nothing to get right. Many people find it deeply restful.

WHO THIS IS FOR
Anyone who has ever needed an hour back. As with all MOTHER EURO events, this is a mothers-only evening.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Our places are reserved within Athena's monthly session at Love Supreme Projects, so we'll also be joined by members of their community.
- Wear something comfortable and warm. Mats and blankets are provided.
- Please arrive by 6:15 PM. The doors close once the session begins.
- If you are pregnant or recently postpartum, let us know when you request a spot so we can tell Athena.

ABOUT ATHENA KO
Athena Ko, known as The Gong Girl, is one of London's leading gong masters and meditation teachers. Before following her calling, she built a career in finance, with an Oxford MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and a Harvard MBA. Hotels like Rosewood and Estelle Manor call on her when they want their guests to actually switch off. She has a particular feel for people who place high demands on themselves, professionally and personally, and a gift for helping them find a seat in the eye of the storm.

Athena has studied with many of the world's leading spiritual teachers. She taught meditation on the psychiatric wards at Nightingale Hospital, London's leading private mental health hospital. She runs public sessions at Love Supreme Projects in Notting Hill and Sacred Tones in Parsons Green. She has collaborated with Estelle Manor, Rosewood Hotels, Bulgari Hotels, Bamford, Hästens, Mauli Rituals, Tramp and Welleco. She has also worked with wellness events including The Harvest Series, Balance Festival and Wanderlust. She was named in Tatler's Best in Wellness in 2020 and 2023.

ABOUT LOVE SUPREME PROJECTS
Love Supreme Projects is a community of practice on Golborne Road, Notting Hill, bringing together yoga, chanting, live music and sound. It was founded in 2022 by Manizeh Rimer, a former technology investment banker turned Jivamukti teacher and kirtan leader, and takes its name from the John Coltrane album. The idea is that music and movement belong together, and that a space can be a place of real community rather than a timetable. Alongside Jivamukti and vinyasa, the programme includes live music, chanting, dance and sound, with visiting teachers and musicians from around the world. It is one of the most considered spaces in West London, and a place Athena has called home since the early days of The Gong Girl.
