About Event

Join the community at BamVolea Ciudad de la Raqueta. Switch partners every round, meet fellow members, and compete for the top spot on the club leaderboard.

Join us for an energetic sporting experience that balances healthy competition with social mixing. The American Padel Tournament format eliminates fixed pairs; instead, you switch teammates and opponents every single round. Your final standing depends entirely on your individual point accumulation, allowing you to share the court with a wide variety of fellow members.

The Ultimate Why

Traditional tournaments lock you in with one partner, limiting your social circle for the day. Our American format breaks those barriers down completely by shifting pairings every 20 minutes, allowing you to organically break the ice and share a high-energy sport with a dozen different people in a single evening.

What to Expect

The American Format: A dynamic rotation matrix where pairings and opponents change automatically each round.

Guaranteed Court Time: Every registered player will play exactly 4 high-energy rounds and sit out for only one 20-minute rest block.

Time-Capped Matches: No need to finish full sets; matches are played against a strict 20-minute buzzer to keep logistics seamless.

Individual Leaderboard: Track your personal wins, draws, and point differentials on our centralized club scoreboard.

Authentic Connection: An environment strictly free from digital distractions on the court to fully focus on the game and the players.

Venue BamVolea Ciudad de la Raqueta:

We are taking over the indoor courts at BamVolea Ciudad de la Raqueta, a beautiful, sweeping sports space in Madrid loved for its panoramic glass walls and exceptional lighting that keeps shadows off the ball. It is a fantastic place to play, but the real highlight is hanging out afterward—the venue features an expansive terrace lounge where we will gather to share post-match drinks and recap the leaderboard as the weekend winds down.

Timeline

17:45 - 18:00: Arrival, check-in, warm-ups, and tournament rules briefing.

18:00 - 18:20: Round 1.

18:25 - 18:45: Round 2.

18:50 - 19:10: Round 3.

19:15 - 19:35: Round 4.

19:40 - 20:00: Round 5.

20:00 onwards: Leaderboard reveal, trophy presentation, and post-match social drinks at the venue lounge.

Tournament Rules & Scoring

Match Punctuality: Games start strictly on the buzzer. Players must be courtside and ready to step on before their round begins.

Match Scoring: Win = 3 points, Draw = 1 point, Loss = 0 points.

Tie-Breaker Hierarchy: 1. Total wins, 2. Game point differential, 3. Head-to-head results, 4. Official club draw.

The Champion: The individual player finishing at the top of the combined general classification will be crowned the absolute tournament champion.

Menu / Inclusions

Included: Private court rentals at Ciudad de la Raqueta, fresh tournament match balls, structured rotation management, and the winner's trophy.

Event Note: This is a community gathering. Any post-match food or drinks at the facility lounge are paid for individually by attendees.

Dress Code

On-Court Athletic: Standard padel or tennis sportswear and appropriate non-marking indoor court shoes. Please remember to bring your own padel racket (rentals are available at the front desk if needed).
