Louisville: Lighthouse Academy of Newburg
During this hands-on volunteer experience, we’ll help Lighthouse Academy of Newburg create a welcoming, engaging environment where students can learn and thrive. Volunteers may assist with landscaping projects such as mulching, weeding, and planting flowers, as well as light painting projects around campus. If weather prevents outdoor work, volunteers will help with indoor cleaning and organizing projects based on the school’s greatest needs.

What to Know Before You Go
What to wear: Comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty, your Risepoint t-shirt, and closed-toe shoes or rubber boots.
What to bring: Bring a pair of work gloves and safety glasses.
What to expect: Activities may take place outdoors and include landscaping or light maintenance projects. If weather prevents outdoor work, volunteers will assist with indoor cleaning and organizing projects.
Parking: Free onsite parking is available.
Waiver: A waiver is required. We’ll share additional information with registered volunteers closer to the event.
