Phoenix: Junior Achievement of Arizona
During this interactive volunteer experience, we’ll support Junior Achievement of Arizona and its mission to prepare young people for success by helping students bring classroom learning to life during the JA BizTown simulation.
After completing several weeks of financial literacy and career readiness curriculum, students will step into the roles of business leaders, employees, and consumers in a simulated town. Volunteers will serve as coaches and mentors throughout the experience, guiding students as they make financial decisions, solve problems, and build confidence while navigating real-world workplace and personal finance scenarios.

What to Know Before You Go
What to wear: Business casual attire and your Risepoint t-shirt. Jeans are welcome.
What to bring: Please bring a sack lunch to enjoy during the day.
Parking: Free onsite parking is available.
Waiver: Volunteers will complete the required waiver upon arrival.
Training: Volunteers will complete a short training at the beginning of the event to prepare for their role in the JA BizTown simulation.
What to expect: You’ll serve as a coach and mentor to students participating in JA BizTown, helping them navigate their assigned roles, make decisions, solve problems, and connect what they’ve learned in the classroom to real-world experiences.
