About Event

During this virtual volunteer experience, we’ll support Per Scholas by helping learners strengthen their interview skills and prepare for the next step in their careers.

Volunteers will participate in one-on-one mock interviews with Per Scholas learners in Los Angeles, asking practice interview questions and providing constructive feedback to help participants build confidence and prepare for real-world job interviews.

What to Know Before You Go

What to wear: Please wear your Risepoint t-shirt during the virtual event.
Virtual background: Before joining, please download the REACH Community Service Week virtual background and use it during the event.

Prepare before the event: Please review the mock interview instruction guide and the mock interview question guide.
What to expect: You’ll conduct a practice interview with a Per Scholas learner and provide feedback to help them strengthen their interviewing skills.
