What to expect
Feeling busy and stretched all the time has become the norm. And it can be exhausting. Instead of focusing on how you can get even more done, we’ll think about how you can take care of yourself and manage your energy, so that you can work in smart ways and keep going without risk of burnout.
Together, we’ll raise awareness of your current energy levels. We’ll explore what energises and drains you in how you’re working now. You’ll leave with a doable, personalised action to work in a more resilient way.
About Anise Bullimore
Anise makes refreshing coaching walks to connect your team. In 2015, inspired by challenging times she’d experienced while working in HE, she created Walk Coach Learn to offer coaching walks that help teams build trust, support people with work stress and explore how we can work in ways that are good for our wellbeing.
Anise uses walking because it helps us to support our physical and mental health, relieve stress, think better, improve our mood, and communicate more openly. She is an accredited Resilience Dynamic practitioner and Mental Health First Aider with oodles of coaching qualifications.
FAQs
Q: What will I need to do to join the walkshop?
A: Download the Zoom app on your phone. Here is a quick video showing you around: https://tinyurl.com/ZoomOnYourPhone Put on your earphones/headphones and join us for a wander.
Q: Do I have to go for a walk?
A: Go for a walk outside with us if you can, to feel energised and help you think more openly and creatively. However, moving around or sitting inside is fine too. You’ll need somewhere relatively quiet with good connectivity.
Q: Will the walk be interactive?
A: Anise will guide you to be mindful and reflect on managing your energy. At points you'll be invited to share your thoughts. It's great to see where people are walking and hear what is coming up for them. You are welcome to just listen if you prefer and putting your video on is also optional.
Q: Who is the walk for?
A: SEDA members and HE staff.
