About Event

✨A Journey for the Soul. A Pilgrimage for the Heart. A Remembering.

Welcome to an unforgettable 8-day (7 night) pilgrimage into the golden heart of Morocco — a land where ancient Berber wisdom meets the mysticism of the desert, where mountains breathe stories, where colors, scents, and sounds awaken every sense… and where the Sahara calls you home.

There are places that change us simply by slowing us down.

The Sahara is one of them.

For eight days we leave behind notifications, deadlines, noise and expectations, and step into the ancient rhythm of the desert. We walk with nomadic guides, sleep beneath thousands of stars, share meals around the fire, and remember what it feels like to simply be.

This is not a survival adventure.
It is not a luxury holiday.
It is a pilgrimage.

A journey into simplicity, presence and deep connection—with yourself, with nature, and with a small group of fellow travellers.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reserve my place?

A €200 deposit secures your spot.

The remaining €600 is paid in cash upon arrival in Morocco.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you cancel 30 days or more before the pilgrimage, your deposit will be fully refunded.

If you cancel 29 days or less before departure, the deposit is non-refundable.

However, your deposit is never lost. It remains as a credit with us and can be used towards any future Sahara Pilgrimage.

Where will we sleep?

During the desert trek, we sleep together in large shared nomadic tents (or under the stars if conditions allow and you wish).

Please bring:

  • A compact sleeping bag

  • Comfortable clothing

  • Toiletries

  • A reusable water bottle

  • A journal (optional but highly recommended)

We spend the first and last nights in comfortable shared riads in Marrakech.

Will I have to carry my backpack?

No.

We travel with a real nomadic family who have lived this way for generations.

As we walk through the Sahara, the camels carry all luggage and camping equipment. You only need to carry a small daypack with your daily essentials.

What about showers?

This is an authentic nomadic desert experience.

During the trek there are no regular showers. You’ll have water available to freshen up according to your needs.

A proper shower is available on the final day before leaving the desert.

Many participants find this simplicity to be one of the most liberating parts of the journey.

What is the weather like in October?

October is one of the best times to visit the Sahara.

Typical temperatures are:

  • Day: up to 30°C

  • Night: around 16°C

Warm days and pleasantly cool nights make it ideal for walking and sleeping.

What food is included?

In the desert:

  • Three freshly prepared meals each day

  • Drinking water throughout the trek

In Marrakech:

  • Breakfast at the riads is included.

  • Dinners are not included, giving you the freedom to explore the local restaurants with the group if you wish.

What kind of practices will we do?

This is not a retreat focused on learning techniques—it’s a pilgrimage into presence.

Throughout the week we’ll explore practices such as:

  • Meditation

  • Breathwork

  • Embodiment and mindful movement

  • Journaling and reflection

  • Solo contemplation

  • Group sharing circles

  • Nature connection

The intention is simple: to slow down, quiet the mind, reconnect with yourself, and allow the wisdom of the desert to do its work.

Do I need experience with meditation or spirituality?

Not at all.

The practices are gentle and accessible for beginners while offering plenty of depth for those with an existing practice.

All you need is an open mind, a reasonable level of fitness for walking 2–4 hours a day, and a willingness to unplug from everyday life.
