About Event

This highly interactive, closed-door working session will move beyond an introduction to Natural Asset Companies (NACs), developed by Intrinsic Exchange Group (IEG), to explore what it will take to make the model investable and build a broader market.

The session will begin with a brief update on NACs (a new and emerging asset class in nature finance), where they fit within the broader nature finance landscape, the core NAC requirements and safeguards, the latest insights on emerging reporting standards in this space, investment facilities, and progress on the pipeline. Hand-selected participants with diverse expertise will then break into small working groups and dive into several “NAC case studies” to pressure-test the investment proposition and share lessons learnt from existing nature finance projects, to identify key challenges and broader conditions needed to build investor confidence and enable NACs to scale.

Participants will be expected to read and digest materials in advance of the session and come ready to roll up their sleeves and provide active input, challenge assumptions and share relevant experience.
