Women's Health Advocates North Carolina Kickoff

​Join us as we kickoff the Women's Health Advocates North Carolina chapter and become an advocate!

​Speakers:

​Liz Powell, Esq., MPH, who launched Women's Health Advocates one year ago after spending two decades working in and with government, will share updates on women's health policy, what is happening in D.C. impacting the health of women, and what we are doing to shape the process.

​Sheila Mikhail, Esq., who is a serial entrepreneur in the life sciences and founded the Breast Cancer Ruckus, will share her journey from businesswoman to advocate, how advocacy has led to change in NC, and her plans for WHA NC.

​Elizabeth H. Star, who is President & Founder of Hopestar Foundation, will share her path to becoming a community advocate for health, education and social justice with her impressive leadership in driving change in maternal health.

​Dr. Rachel Brem, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Brem Foundation, will be doing a Q&A about breast cancer, breast density, and screenings.
