🍷 Wine Wednesday – Bhutan’s New Wine Frontier 🌄
Join us this week as Jana hosts a very special Wine Wednesday featuring The Bhutan Wine Company — pioneers of the world’s newest fine-wine terroir in the heart of the Himalayas.
Since planting the first vineyards in 2019, BWC has established nine vineyards across Bhutan — from lush valleys to 9,150 ft elevation — cultivating 16 grape varietals including Pinot Noir, Chenin Blanc, and Syrah. Their inaugural vintage has already made international headlines, with “The Himalayan” auctioned at Bonhams and their first commercial Chenin Blanc release sparking global demand.
