Playing with Purpose: Finding Your Way Through Transitions

Hosted by Liza Ruggerio, Leadership Coach

Finding one’s purpose – especially during periods of transition – is an intimidating and sometimes even off-putting prospect. Join us to explore the importance of integrating play into the process of better understanding your life’s work. Together we will explore an interactive framework designed to help you navigate professional and personal transitions from a place of purpose, so that you can balance groundedness and growth.

Attendees can expect to:

  • Learn how entering a “play-state” helps you access possibility and form new connections

  • Experiment with a framework for better understanding a sense of purpose that transcends a work/life binary

  • Understand why transitions are often periods of profound growth

About the Host: Liza Ruggerio is a warm, dynamic coach who has served in a variety of leadership, teaching, coaching, and facilitation roles. Drawing on her expertise in psychology, mindfulness, and leadership, her work focuses on cultivating belonging, self-compassion, and deeper self-awareness.

Liza specializes in supporting people navigating life transitions—including young adults, emerging leaders, and parents—helping them clarify their goals while building lives that feel grounded, meaningful, and aligned. Her work also spans relationship and team building, equity and reflective practices, social-emotional learning (SEL), and student wellbeing.
