Mixmag Asia x EMC: The Gathering ADE Mixer

Mixmag Asia and EMC invite friends, collaborators and community to The Gathering ADE Mixer, part of the Pavilion East program, on Thursday 22 October.

Join us for a drink and an evening of music, connection and cross-continental exchange, bringing together the collectives and creative communities shaping electronic music across Asia and Australia.

Rooted in shared music cultures and intersecting scenes, The Gathering creates space for intentional conversations and stronger connections across borders.

With DJs Gibs and Dunia Crew, come together with the people building our scenes from the ground up.

About the Pavilion East program:

A one-day takeover at Wanakam with a curated programme of panel discussions, screenings, fashion, and recorded DJ sets by Asian collectives.

Pavilion East offers education on Asian musicology and culture to the broader public locally and online, commenting on how Asia and its diaspora have shaped global dance and club music culture, perspectives from the subculture, and existing frictions within institutional frameworks.

The Pavilion East program is for the architects of electronic music culture. The collectives, designers, promoters, videographers, and grassroots movements building our scenes from the ground up.

The programme offering unpacks the frictions and futures of a region shifting from an emerging consumer market to an active exporter of sound, visual culture, and sustainable subculture models.

Program running from 1pm until CLOSE and is open to all ADE Pro Pass Holders.
