​Our final session covers E in C-ABCDE: completing your initial assessment, looking for missed injuries and protecting the patient from their environment. We’ll also bring the sequence together, because reaching E means reassessing what came before.

​We’ll explore:

• ​Examining sufficiently to find hidden injuries while protecting dignity.

• ​Why temperature matters in trauma and how heat loss affects an unwell patient.

• ​Reassessment, communicating your findings and bringing C–ABCDE together into a coherent approach.

​For medical students who want to finish their assessment with a clearer picture and a plan for what happens next.
