Founders Cohort - Friday Coworking/Show & Tell
Working on something no one’s built before? Does being a founder get lonely and draining?
Don’t grind it out in isolation—plug in beside other founders, swap energy, and cap the week showing off what you shipped (or broke).
All week we sprint toward this moment: on Monday we set loud, public goals; on Friday we make sure we're accountable to each other when we open the laptop lid and see what survived. Whether you crushed your roadmap or face‑planted gloriously, the room learns from both. We're here to help each other build and ship faster than if we did it alone.
10:00AM - Settle in, get started on work
12:00PM - Optional lunch time to chat
4:00PM - Show and tell/Demo time!
🔹 Focused work time—stay productive while working alongside other founders

🔹 A space for builders—come and go as needed, no pressure, no distractions
🔹 Structured Session—optionally join in on scheduled standups, accountability activities, and discussion and problem solving sessions
We want to bring the builder-first culture of SF to NYC—where founders don’t just meet, but actively spend time together, collaborate, and push each other forward.
About Cohort – A Community for Builders
Cohort is a new community of founders and builders focused on a SF like builder first community culture for founders, instead of the NYC hustle and networking culture.
NYC has some of the most ambitious people in the world, but too often, the startup scene feels transactional. The best founder ecosystems emerge when people build together, challenge each other, and create momentum as a group.
As Paul Graham wrote:
“Ambitious people are rare… when you take people like this and put them together with other ambitious people, they bloom like dying plants given water.”
We’re building an environment where founders work side by side, form real relationships, and accelerate each other’s progress.
We’re starting with weekly coworking sessions—a simple but effective way to stay focused while building meaningful connections. Over time, we’ll expand to both social and building focused events designed to foster deeper conversations and shared learning—moving beyond networking to create a true community of builders.
