SPEAKERS
・Robin is co-CEO of Social Innovation Japan, a social enterprise empowering people and organisations to drive meaningful social and environmental action, and co-Founder of mymizu.
He serves as a board member and advisor to several mission-driven organisations, lectures at universities, and is a 2024 Obama Leader Asia-Pacific. He is a recipient of the M.I.T. Technology Review "Innovators Under 35" Award and Business Insider Japan’s "Beyond Millennials" Award. His work has been featured by CNN, NHK, and Netflix.
・Constantinos, founder and CEO of EMBIO Diagnostics and former Visiting Professor at European University Cyprus, brings together academic excellence and entrepreneurial innovation. With an M.Eng. and M.Sc. in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, he has taught courses in electronics, signals, and systems, while also serving as a Special Scientist at the University of Cyprus, contributing to advanced eHealth developments.
His research spans biosensors, signal processing, and digital diagnostics, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is the inventor of patented sensor technologies for water-level monitoring and bioelectric diagnostic assays, including rapid SARS-CoV-2 detection. Certified in Ethical Hacking, Constantinos applies his multidisciplinary expertise to develop secure, scalable, and innovative technologies. His academic and industry contributions position him as a leading figure at the intersection of research, innovation, and applied diagnostics.
・Fara was born in the Middle East and spent her childhood living in multiple countries, developing a multicultural perspective. In 2012, she completed a Master’s degree in Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. A specialist in sustainable design and intelligent cities, her work focuses on sustainable architecture, socially impactful material innovation, and carbon footprint measurement.
She has experience serving as a director at The Nippon Foundation Social Change Maker program and is currently a judge for JFMA. Aiming to drive positive social transformation through integration of innovation and design, she has successfully led five programs over the past three years targeting startups in the SDGs and ESG sectors. In 2021, she founded NewNormDesign and is developing “Matinno,” a SaaS platform for the circular economy of building materials.
