Conscious Inner Liberation Embodiment ~ From Pressure to Presence
This workshop is a guided embodiment experience combining mindfulness, breathwork, meditation, somatic movement, and intuitive dance for nervous system regulation.
Rooted in Melissa's background as a mindfulness educator, therapy-based mindset coach, and founder of Conscious Matters®, a wellbeing hub for high-achievers, this experience blends nervous system-based approaches with embodied movement practices. It is also deeply shaped by her West African roots, and her time living in Asia - particularly in Bali and Vietnam - where she deepened her meditation, yoga, and breathwork practices.
This workshop is designed to support women in reconnecting with their bodies, releasing internal tension, and moving from mental overactivity into grounded presence. It draws inspiration from:
mindfulness
meditation
breathwork
yoga-inspired somatic movement
African-rooted hip-focused intuitive dance
The participants will be guided through a gentle progression of grounding practices, conscious breathing, meditation, embodied movement, and intuitive dance focused particularly on releasing tension stored in the hips and reconnecting with self-trust, self-expression, and inner freedom.
The atmosphere is reflective, welcoming, non-performative, and accessible to beginners. The workshop is led in English and open to Spanish speakers. A basic level of English is enough to fully participate.
The intention is not choreography or performance, but embodiment, emotional release, nervous system regulation, and deeper connection to self and community.
