About Event

Featuring Dani Engelke, CEO of Valoré Financial
Moderated by Baaba Holland

What happens when the path you planned is no longer the path you're meant to take?

Join The Private Plug Foundation™ for an intimate evening at Porsche centered around The Art of a Pivot — a candid conversation about navigating career changes, trusting yourself enough to change direction, taking calculated risks, and recognizing when it’s time to build something new.

THE CONVERSATION

Our fireside guest, Dani Engelke, is the CEO of Valoré Financial, a boutique, white-glove CFO firm serving companies across the country. Valoré acts as an outsourced finance team for its clients, combining bookkeeping, cash flow management, tax planning, forecasting, and financial strategy to help business owners make decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

But Dani's path to where she is today wasn't necessarily a straight line.

In conversation with Baaba Holland, Dani will share the pivots, decisions, risks, and lessons that have shaped her professional journey — and what she's learned about having the courage to change direction when the next chapter of your career or life calls for something different.

We'll talk about leaving what's familiar, transferring your skills into new spaces, entrepreneurship, redefining success, betting on yourself, and learning to recognize the difference between a difficult season and a signal that it's time to move.

WHAT TO EXPECT

An intimate fireside conversation, meaningful networking, wine and refreshments, and the opportunity to connect with young women, mentors, professionals, entrepreneurs, and supporters of The Private Plug Foundation.

This experience is designed to bring young women — including high school seniors, college students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals — into the same room with professionals who have already navigated some of the decisions, transitions, and uncertainties that come with building a career and a life.

Come for the conversation. Stay for the connections.

EVENT FORMAT

This Plug Session is designed as an intimate mixer and fireside conversation. Guests will enjoy networking, wine and refreshments throughout the evening, followed by a seated fireside conversation with Dani Engelke, moderated by Baaba Holland.

A mix of seating and standing room will be available throughout the space. If you require seating or another accommodation to comfortably participate in the event, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

ADMISSION

This event is complimentary as part of The Private Plug Foundation's commitment to creating accessible mentorship, professional development, and community experiences for young women.

If you are attending as a mentor, supporter, or friend of the Foundation, we invite you to consider making an optional contribution. Your support helps us continue providing experiences like this at no cost to the young women we serve. Donations can be made via our website at:
