Ethereum Builders Tour: Florianópolis, Brazil - Session 1
Timeline:
Session 1 - August 19
Session 2 - Tuesday (25)
Hackathon Day - August 29
As Ethereum's infrastructure continues to mature, the next wave of innovation is emerging at the application layer.
Sponsored by HSK Chain, a compliance-friendly, institutional-grade blockchain designed to rebuild global financial markets on-chain.
Organized locally by ETH Floripa, with support from blockful, Infinity Base, LabSEC, Ethereum Hub and Chainstack, hosted at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), this session will bring together developers, researchers, founders, students, and curious builders to explore Ethereum-native applications, blockchain technology, and decentralized innovation.
The goal is simple: give local builders a practical entry point into Ethereum, connect the university ecosystem with the broader Ethereum community, and prepare participants for the upcoming hackathon.
Whether you are already building in Web3 or coming from Web2 and looking for a clear path into Ethereum, this session is designed to help you understand the fundamentals, explore real application use cases, and take the next step toward building your own project.
The builder journey continues with the EAG Global Buildathon: Hackathon Day on Saturday, August 29, at Inpetu. During the hackathon, participants will form teams, build prototypes, receive mentorship, present demos, and compete for project opportunities and rewards.
