CISO.SG Forum: Predictions

Cyber trends and strategies for 2027

Major developments in agentic AI, physical AI, data, identity, supply chain, new regulations and advanced threats could impact your organisation in 2027 like never before.

Would AI generate an apocalypse that will disrupt established enterprise apps and overwhelm existing infrastructures? Would AI projects take away most of the IT budget and deprive security teams of the much-needed resources to defend their corporate networks? How should cyber leaders improvise and respond to the new cyber regulatory requirements in Singapore?

These challenges and work demands are too many for any cyber leader to handle alone.

CISO.SG is pleased to present the next community meetup for cyber leaders* in Singapore. Join the coming CISO.SG Forum to hear, share and learn new cyber trends and strategies from industry experts and peers.

KNOWLEDGE SHARING

2026 Cybersecurity Year in Review Closing the Gap Between Threat Velocity and Cyber-Response Readiness

In this peer-led CISO roundtable, let's connect the threat shifts observed across 2026 with the control weaknesses that turn exposure into business impact. The discussion will examine where AI-enabled adversaries are compressing the attack lifecycle, where security operations are losing time, and which identity, detection, response and recovery capabilities deserve priority in 2027.

Questions CISOs should take into 2027

  • Who is accountable for prioritising identity, exposure and detection across the IIA's Three Lines Model, including the cloud providers, third parties and AI that act on our behalf, before attackers exploit the gaps?

  • What unknown gaps, in our environment or our vendors', would cause the greatest business impact on our services, and would we know before they are exploited?

  • Where does threat velocity outpace our AI-augmented ability to detect, decide and contain, inside our environment and across what attackers build around our brand, executives and suppliers?

  • When a threat is flagged or disruption hits, can we prove within our agreed recovery times (RTO/RPO) that our customer-facing channels, data and recent changes are still trustworthy?

  • How do we show an increasingly cyber-aware board that threat intelligence is changing our priorities and shrinking our trust surface, not just adding alerts and security activity?
