Student hackathons on sustainability challenges
In this Cafe we will spotlight two recent hackathon-like projects carried out by Pact Ambassadors.
Sustainability European Action Lab (SEAL), organised by Ambassadors Daan Vandenberghe, Bo Breat, Alice Diana and Oskar Bonte.
SEAL brought European students and experts together in Center Parks near Paris to turn sustainable tourism challenges into concrete solutions, ready to be implemented on the Center Parks grounds.Equitrade and Fair Trade Week, organised by Ambassadors Alexandre Mabille and Pierre-Yves Brasseur, with contributions by Cinzia De Marzo, Maria De La Fuente Ruiz.
EquiTrade 2026 puts students in the decision-maker’s seat, balancing fairness, sustainability and competitiveness through simulations, debate and market-strategy challenges during Fair Trade Week in Charleroi.
We start with a brief presentation of each project to continue with a reflection on lessons learned, good practices and multiplication options.
Join us to get inspired, to learn frome ach other and to look ahead to future projects!
