About USS IEO
The USS IEO is a national platform hosted by Agency of Science, Technology & Research. As a national platform, the USS IEO works with companies, research performers and agencies to bring technologies from the lab to the market to solve urban challenges and create economic opportunities. The USS IEO currently focuses on four sectors within the Urban Solutions & Sustainability space, including Built Environment, Water, Agri-Food and Environmental Services. Companies we work with can be big or small, local or international, but they should be committed to delivering products and services in Singapore to create local value capture. The USS Translation Fund is a new $40 million funding programme by the Ministry of National Development (MND) and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) to support local companies develop, pilot and commercialise promising urban and sustainability solutions. Administered by the USS Innovation & Enterprise Office (USS IEO), a national platform hosted by A*STAR, the fund helps companies translate high-potential USS research into cost-effective market-ready products.
