​AI x Epistemics Research Sprint

​AI will change how people and institutions work out what to believe, decide what to do, and coordinate. The tools could make it far easier to understand complex situations, or concentrate decision-making power and deepen dependence on systems nobody can evaluate.

​Over one weekend, teams pick an open problem in AI for epistemics, build a benchmark, tool, product or study, and write it up as a short research report. There are four tracks (model epistemics and decision-making evals, trust infrastructure, epistemic products, and an open track) and $2,000 in prizes.

​Whether you're deep into tech or just curious about where AI is heading, come hang out with local builders, researchers, and students. Grab a team, dive into a project, and spend the weekend building something cool together.

​Step one is signing up for the Sprint at apartresearch.com. An RSVP on this Luma page is not a signup. It only saves you a place in the room, and you can't submit a project without the Sprint signup. Zero prior AI safety experience required, just bring your laptop and your ideas.

​Working space is free. Participants pay for their own meals and drinks.
