Korean Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo Championship 2026: Where Sport Meets Korean Culture
Get ready for two days of discipline, athleticism and the spirit of Taekwondo as the Korean Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo Championship 2026 comes to the Indoor Arena, Kasarani, Nairobi, on 24–25 October 2026.
Held as part of Korea Week, the championship brings together the competitive energy of Taekwondo with a celebration of the cultural connection between Kenya and the Republic of Korea.
At its heart is more than competition. Taekwondo is a sport built on discipline, respect and excellence—and the championship provides a platform for athletes, coaches, officials, clubs, team managers and supporters to come together around those values. Under the spirit of “One Spirit, One Sport, One Future,” the event will promote sportsmanship, excellence and cultural exchange.
The action extends beyond the championship itself.
On 25 October, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, audiences can experience a special K-Pop performance by K-Tigers, blending K-Pop, powerful choreography and Taekwondo demonstrations. It adds another dimension to Korea Week, connecting the precision and energy of Taekwondo with contemporary Korean performance culture.
Whether you follow Taekwondo, support an athlete or club, or simply want to experience a different side of Korean culture in Nairobi, the Korean Ambassador’s Cup offers an opportunity to experience sport and culture coming together under one roof.
