Come hang out for the next NYC Category Theory Reading Club session. We made good progress through Fong and Spivak's Seven Sketches in Compositionality, so now we're switching to Bartosz Milewski's Category Theory for Programmers, with some Haskell for fun. We'll start with Chapter 1, Category: The Essence of Composition.
New book, fresh start, so this is a great session to jump in, even if you've never come before. Just bring curiosity and a willingness to wrestle with abstraction in good company.
We are meeting at the Maiden Lane Public Atrium in Lower Manhattan. Expect a relaxed, lively hour of math conversation, whiteboard energy, and a little code.
