BRING THE TRASH OUT 🧹
BRING THE TRASH OUT 🧹
Minimalism as a Longevity Practice
What if your next longevity intervention isn't something you add — but something you remove?
We live in a world of constant optimization: more training, more supplements, more data, more apps, more routines.
But what about the things that continuously consume our time, energy and attention?
Inspired by Dr. Christian Zippel's book Bring den Müll raus, this Longevity Cities Essen Meetup explores minimalism beyond material possessions.
Because sometimes the "trash" in our lives isn't something we can put in a box.
It can be a thought.
A habit.
A notification.
A commitment.
A meeting.
A relationship.
A subscription.
Or simply something we keep doing because we've always done it.
During the Meetup, we'll explore:
🧠 Mental clutter 📱 Digital overload 🏠 Material possessions 👥 Social commitments 💼 Work & obligations 💰 Financial clutter 🫀 Habits & physical load
This won't be a traditional lecture.
We'll start with a short introduction to the ideas behind Bring den Müll raus, followed by a personal reflection exercise and small-group conversations.
You'll identify the things that create unnecessary load in your life — and then choose one thing you're ready to let go of.
Because the goal isn't to have less just for the sake of having less.
It's to create more space for what actually matters.
Less clutter. More energy. More freedom. More life.
📍 Physiotherapie Warner, Essen 🗓️ 22.11.2026 ⏰ 10:30
The Meetup is free and open to everyone interested in longevity, health, performance, minimalism and conscious living.
Come as you are.
And maybe leave with a little less to carry.
