About Event

A conversation on supporting the body through egg freezing, IUI, and IVF.

Join Chiyo and WTHN, together with RMA of New York and Sunfish, for a conversation in our On Fertility series, focused on navigating fertility treatment with more support, context, and care.

We’ll explore how nutrition, acupuncture, reproductive medicine, and emotional wellbeing can support people through egg freezing, IUI, IVF, and the many decisions and emotions that can come with treatment.

The conversation brings together voices from Chiyo, WTHN, RMA of New York, Sunfish, and Sana Psychotherapy, spanning reproductive medicine, nutrition, acupuncture, emotional health, and fertility support.

Featuring Dr. Jenna Friedenthal of RMA of New York, a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist and Assistant Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Friedenthal specializes in fertility preservation, including egg and embryo freezing, reproductive disorders, IVF with preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), and LGBTQIA+ family building.

Dara Godfrey, MS, RD of RMA of New York is a registered dietitian who supports patients through every stage of fertility treatment and pregnancy, from pre-treatment nutrition and weight management to prenatal care. She earned her master’s degree in nutrition from New York University, previously worked at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, and is the co-host of Fertility Forward, RMA of New York’s fertility podcast.

Jessica Erickson, LCSW is a psychotherapist and co-founder of Sana Psychotherapy who specializes in the emotional and relationship challenges of fertility treatment and family building. She supports individuals and couples navigating egg freezing, IUI, IVF, donor conception, and reproductive loss, and previously held leadership and supervisory roles in the Women’s Mental Health Division at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Kirstin Bunton, MSTOM, LAC, Head of Acupuncture at WTHN, brings a deeply personal approach to Eastern medicine, shaped by an early appreciation for herbal remedies and “kitchen healthcare.” Her treatments combine acupuncture, natural herbal medicine, and therapeutic touch to help create space for greater balance, vitality, and overall wellbeing.

Sunfish helps people navigate the financial and logistical complexities of fertility care with personalized guidance, greater cost clarity, and financial protection across IVF, fertility preservation, surrogacy, and donor journeys.

The evening will be moderated by Daphne Thompson of Sunfish.

Guests are invited to stay and connect following the conversation, with light bites from Chiyo.

Space is limited.

Please note: By registering for this event, you agree to receive email communications from Chiyo and participating event partners. We’ll be taking photos during the evening. If you’d prefer not to be photographed, please let our photographer know when you arrive.
