AI4Imaging Summer School 2026 — Medical AI x Imaging Research, Vienna

​A week-long intensive for early-career researchers at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medical imaging. Hosted by MedUni Vienna and the Comprehensive Center for AI in Medicine.

Expect lectures from leading voices in the field (Imperial College London, Charité Berlin, Radboudumc, University of Zurich), hands-on workshops, a collaborative hackathon, and dedicated time to develop your own grant-ready research proposal.

Topics include automated disease detection, radiomics, multimodal data integration, large language models in medicine, and structured reporting.

​Please note that we can be flexible regarding the formal prerequisites. If you are unable to provide all the requested application documents (for instance, if you haven't started your PhD yet, or for any other reason), please just submit your application as best as you can with the materials you currently have.

​Regarding the participation fee of 850 € and travel/accommodation costs: if these pose a barrier to your attendance, please include a note in your application specifying what you would be able to cover or mentioning if you would like to discuss alternative options.

​Please make sure to explicitly state somewhere in your application that you are applying via AIM Austria.
