It’s Time to Feed the Hungry Soil Microbes! (Parent–Child Workshop)
Join Cuifen Pui and Dorcas Tang for an interactive storytelling session where they will be sharing more about microbes in the soil. There will be hands-on exploration of soil and compost, and an outdoor walk. Discover how beneficial microbes help break down organic matter, how compost feeds soil life and supports plant growth, and what we can observe to understand soil health. Afterwards, head back indoors where you’ll be guided to make an interactive, layered paper craft to bring home.
Suitable for children ages 4-9. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
Standard: $50 per parent & child
Special rate for Friends of the Gardens: $45 per parent & child
We look forward to having you with us! Your place in the storytelling room is confirmed once we’ve received your form and payment.
