AI in Strategy #3: The Company Mind
A company knows more than anyone inside it. Its knowledge is spread across people, documents, routines, decisions, assumptions and habits, and until now nothing has been able to hold it all at once. AI may be the first technology that can: an organizational intelligence that remembers and reasons alongside the people who run the place.
This meetup is a small-group deep dive into what that means for strategy.
Every organization already has a thinking layer under everything it does. In most of them it's a deck in a folder while the rest of the business shapes itself. Agents change that in one of two directions. Either the organization gets its agency back, sensing its market and revising its bets while they're still in play, or it hands its thinking over to the same models everyone else is running. We'll spend the evening on what decides which way it goes, and on who is doing the thinking once the ensemble making the calls is made of people and machines.
We'll draw on organizational memory, collective intelligence, distributed cognition and institutional learning, and on what's already happening in practice as companies start running strategy with agents in the room.
This is a small, discussion-heavy session for people interested in the psychological, philosophical and organizational implications of the company mind 🧠
AI in Strategy is a recurring gathering in Helsinki for strategists and anyone curious about what happens to strategy when intelligence becomes infrastructure.
