Designing for Conversations

The chances are that at some point in your career, you’ll be asked to design a conversation. So, where would you start?
Conversational user interfaces are becoming a common and expected part of customer interactions. Usage of voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant has doubled in the last 12 months. Chatbots on websites have seen a 700% increases in usage over the same period.
Just when you thought the hype around conversational interfaces had died down, they’ve found practical applications and are delivering real value to users and businesses.
User interfaces advance every decade or so. We’ve gone from punch cards to keyboards, to touch screen, and now, language. It’s the final user interface we’ll ever need.
But what exactly is a conversational user interface? How do they work? What qualities make for a good conversation? And how do you design a successful one?
Get your questions answered, and share them in advance on https://app.sli.do/event/mqnkculx (no need to register).
Our speaker will answer your questions during the event.
