Speakers
Richard Socher is the Founding Partner & Managing Director of AIX Ventures and the Founder & CEO of Recursive. He is also the co-founder of You.com and previously served as Chief Scientist and Executive Vice President at Salesforce, where he led the company's AI strategy. Richard is widely recognized as a pioneer in applying neural networks to natural language processing. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University, where he also served as an adjunct professor. He is the author of The Eureka Machine: Why AI Is the Key to Unlocking a New Era of Scientific Discoveries.
Will Marshall is the Co-Founder & CEO of Planet Labs PBC, which operates the world's largest fleet of Earth-imaging satellites. Before founding Planet, he was a scientist at NASA and the Universities Space Research Association (USRA). He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Oxford. Will is a leading voice on the intersection of AI, technology, and global governance, and recently authored an Economist guest essay arguing for a verifiable international framework to govern advanced AI before the emergence of recursive self-improvement (https://www.economist.com/by-invitation/2026/06/15/humanity-isnt-ready-for-the-coming-intelligence-explosion).
