The New Influencers: Who Is Shaping Our Values Today?

​In today’s digital age, influence no longer belongs only to political leaders, educators, or traditional institutions. Social media personalities, creators, public figures, and online communities now play a powerful role in shaping how young people think, behave, and define success.

​Ethika Series 3.0 explores an important question: Who truly shapes our values today and what responsibility comes with that influence?

​This session will examine how modern influencers impact societal norms, ethics, leadership culture, and decision-making, especially among young people. Beyond popularity and visibility, the conversation challenges influencers and audiences alike to consider the social responsibility attached to influence and the role values play in nation-building.

​Hosted by Ethika Africa in partnership with YALI Abuja, a values-driven movement promoting ethical leadership, integrity, and responsible citizenship, the Ethika Series creates safe spaces for honest conversations around morality, accountability, and societal progress.

​Having reached over 100 young professionals and students across previous editions, addressing themes such as patriotism and the cost of dishonesty. Ethika Series continues to inspire value-based leadership through dialogue and community engagement.
