Job Seekers (and Supporters!) June Networking
The Alliance for Collective Action’s Job Seekers Meet Up is a space for people navigating career transitions, searching for meaningful work, or exploring what’s next — together.
So much of job hunting is built on scarcity: limited roles, guarded leads, quiet competition. We believe there is another way.
This gathering is rooted in abundance. Instead of competing for opportunities, we practice sharing them. Instead of isolating, we connect. Instead of transactional networking, we build relationships. This Meet Up creates space for honest conversations about the realities of searching, changing paths, or starting over. We exchange insights, reflect on strategy, make introductions when we can, and support one another in staying grounded and encouraged in the process.
Because when one of us finds an opportunity, it expands what feels possible for the rest of us.
We gather twice each month:
First Fridays (in-person/ occasional hybrid option) – A dedicated space to connect, share updates, and support one another from wherever you are.
Third Wednesdays (in-person) – Held alongside our Community Free Coworking Day at The Alliance Center, offering space to work, connect, and continue conversations in community.
Whether you’re actively applying, quietly exploring, or simply seeking community during a season of transition, you are welcome here.
Come as you are. Leave feeling supported, seen, and a little less alone in the process.
